Class Action Lawsuits
In the 1970's the onslaught of Asbestos lawsuits began. The target of the class action lawsuits have been shipbuilders, manufacturers, mining companies and construction companies. Because many of these buildings/mines/ships still stand mesothelioma and of course mesothelioma class action lawsuits continue. Mesothelioma causes death so you would think that the reward should be substantial.
James Blatt Attorney
James Blatt is one of the more well known criminal defense attorneys in the Los Angeles county area. He has an office in Hollywood and Encino.
Looking at the website, one can see that he has had some very successful case results. For example, in August 2009, a defendant of his that was charged with felony DUI injuring three people was sentenced to only misdemeanor probation.
In July 2009, a defendant that was charged with assault with a semi automatic weapon was granted probation.
Those are just two of the many cases on his website. Justice was served in those cases but the charge was significantly reduced from what the worst possible case is.
